Folkuniversitetet offers daytime and evening courses as well as lectures in areas such as languages, economics, communication, writing, and aesthetic subjects. Our courses primarily target individuals but also associations and companies.

About the assignment
We are now looking for course leaders in languages, preferably Spanish, German, Japanese, and sign language. However, other languages are also of interest. Our courses are mainly conducted in the evenings, but daytime and weekend courses may also be relevant in our premises located in Varberg.
You will independently plan and conduct your courses, as well as follow up and register attendance.

Your skills and background
We are looking for someone with excellent knowledge of the relevant language and an interest in cultural and societal issues related to the country/region where the language is spoken. You should also have good knowledge of Swedish. It is an advantage if you have education and experience in teaching adults or other experience in leading groups of adults.

As a circle leader at Folkuniversitetet, you are expected to have the ability to tailor the teaching to individuals and bring out each individual's potential. It is important that you enjoy sharing knowledge and see the positive aspects of participants' development. You are flexible, attentive, and structured, and have experience working independently. We also expect you to share our view on the equal value of all people and the right to knowledge.

Employment type
The employment is a project-based position (employment per course) with compensation per study hour. Planning is done in close collaboration with responsible staff at Folkuniversitetet.
